Meme Survivors: Backrooms is a survival arena set in maze like yellow halls inspired by backrooms creepypasta but treated in a stylised, tongue in cheek way, where meme flavored enemies drift in as you auto attack and you move to avoid them while stacking upgrades. On desktop you steer with WASD or arrow keys, let the character attack automatically, and use the mouse to choose perks between waves, tapping keys to dash or drop temporary gadgets like decoys and slowing fields. On mobile you move with a virtual joystick, tap big buttons for dash and gadgets, and tap perk cards when you level up, with a mini map or breadcrumb indicators helping you navigate repetitive corridors. The goal is to survive for as many minutes as possible, collecting XP orbs to power up your build and unlocking new characters and maps. Strong runs come from constantly kiting enemies in loose circles instead of backing into dead ends, picking defense upgrades early before piling on damage, grabbing XP clumps between waves rather than during the thickest swarms and using dash sparingly to cross dangerous gaps.
