Description

Sort New Year! is a festive sorting puzzle where you stack holiday items such as baubles, hats and candles into themed tubes or shelves, arranging them by color or type to clear each level before space runs out. On desktop you click a stack or tube to pick up the top item and click another container to drop it, using buttons for undo, hint and level select as patterns grow more complex. On mobile you tap a column to lift the top decoration, tap a new column to place it, tap big icons for undo, hints and shuffle and swipe menus to move between stages. The goal is to sort each container so it holds only one kind or color of item, with as few moves as possible, treating empty tubes as precious staging areas. Smart play means moving items into empties early so you have room to shuffle, focusing on finishing one color at a time, avoiding scattering matching items into many different tubes and using hints sparingly to check a plan rather than fix random moves. If taps or clicks stop doing anything after an advert or overlay, click or tap inside the puzzle area so focus returns; if movement animations and sparkles stutter on weaker devices, lower graphics quality, turn off animated backgrounds and close spare tabs; if small decorations are hard to tap accurately on a phone, reset browser zoom to 100 percent, switch to full screen and enable any large UI option; and if solved stages, star ratings or seasonal themes reset between visits, make sure cookies and local storage are enabled so Sort New Year! can remember your tidiest holiday shelves.
